[ chloe's busy in the exam room, bela's body splayed out on the table in front of her. the room was filled with many black candles, lit, even though the overhead lamp was on. the smell of sage hung in the air, a few sticks laying on a counter top on the other side of the room. chloe had burned them to eliminate what she would say was the bad energy that surrounded bela's body. understandably, of course.
