[ he wanted to stay at the motel longer but then they started calling from work. apparently there was a new body found. great. he took a shower at the motel so his hair is still damp after the motorcycle drive from Elkins to Blackwell. right now he needs a new set of clothes so he's turning the key in the lock of his new place for the very first time after moving in. ]
