▸ In a sad turn of events during last night's activities, local teenager Bela Gage was found dead at Gainsbourg Resort as festivities were wrapping up. Local authorities have opened up an investigation regarding the circumstances around her death.

▸ Several houses were egged in height of last night's events. Locals are offering a small reward to anyone with information that may lead to identification of the culprits.

▸ Now for the weather, expect light showers from late morning to mid afternoon. Blackwell is expecting the storm to keep rolling through overnight, so drive safe!

Oh come on, you're not seriously upset, are you? I'm just trying to get you to relax. Surely you're more exciting than trying to impress me with your bike and probing for information over coffee.

[ izzy leans back in her chair, keeping her coffee on the table. she lets out a laugh. ]

Glad you said that. It would have been really embarrassing to pretend to leave if you hadn't said anything.

[ drops the coat back on the bench and sits down, leaning on the table. not gonna go anywhere now. ]

[ she rocks her chair back and forth, teetering dangerously on two of its four legs. ]

[ sighs like it's a big secret. ]

I mean I can watch Terminator alright, but now that he's older... I'd hate to see what's happened down there.

I've got plenty more questions, plenty more ideas for dates besides a boring ol' coffee shop. I used to be the life of the party back in New York, you know.

[ until the evil queen broke her heart and turned her into a lame shell of a woman that forced her back to west virginia. a tragic story. ]

I've only gotten compliments on my ass and that never happened with me. Maybe it's different when you're complemented in New York.

Wait-- [ the front legs of her chair fall to the floor and she sets her hands on the table. ] You have an ass?

[ she shoots, she scores! one of the baristas shoot her a dirty look. whoops. ]

That's too bad, I was hoping to hear about it. Is there something else I shouldn't bother bringing up?

Nah, that's it. I'm generally pretty open but you have to admit, if someone leaves NYC to come back to West Virginia of all places-- good things could not have gone down.

[ nope. ]

[ leans back a little. ]

[ drums the table with his fingers. ]

[ too much of a pause. why was she playing this game right now, anyway? it was awful of her. and to be totally honest with ben right now, there wasn't really any men out there she did want to see naked. gross. ]

[ that pause was never caused by her modesty that's for sure. he wonders what it was about because that right there was not a believable save. ]
